Ownership is easy as we can take care of all maintenance services to keep your home in tiptop condition. We also take care of all the grounds around your home leaving you to enjoy the view and relax.

How long have you owned a holiday home at Skiddaw View?We have owned a static caravan at Skiddaw View for 3 Years.

What made you choose Skiddaw View? Location, fair price for buying the caravan. --It’s the best part of the Lakes.

What is your favourite thing about owning a holiday home? Freedom of movement, ability to come and go whenever.

How do you feel about the park facilities, including the new shop and laundry? The shop is brilliant, a great idea with some well thought out items.The laundry is very good too.

Any other comments? Love the park. It is the best thing we have done holiday wise. Nothing is ever too much trouble with the staff here, they are all really helpful. It is how we remember the Lakes as kids, it is not full of tourists. You can get the solitude here rather than the hustle and bustle of Ambleside, etc.

How long have you had a holiday home at Skiddaw View? We have had a holiday home at Skiddaw View since 2011 and upgraded November 2014.

What is your favourite thing about owning a holiday home? Our favourite thing about owning our holiday home is being at our own home and looking forward to each visit to our holiday home. Relaxation, peace, quiet and away from the rat race. We can share the wonderful experience with our family and friends.

Why did you choose Skiddaw View? We didn’t choose Skiddaw View, it chose us!!

What do you like most about the local area? Whilst being ‘hidden off the beaten track’ within a short amount of time you can be in many diverse spots; the lakes, the coast, Carlisle, the Scottish Borders, not to mention the great villages and excellent places to eat out, restaurants and shops, with the lovely Cockermouth on the doorstep.
