Skiddaw Special Bitter - 3.6% abv

A true session bitter; largely Maris Otter pale ale malt with just enough crystal malt to round the flavour. A classic combination of Goldings, Fuggles and Hallertau Hersbrucker provides the bitterness, finished with a hint of Styrian Goldings.

Haystacks - 3.7% abv

A refreshing, zesty beer; light on the palate and late hopped to give a hint of grapefruit. Perfect after a days walking on the fells and a great session beer.

Red Pike - 3.8% abv

A dark red ale with complex malty backbone but with plenty of hop flavour, balanced with a big hit of hops. Colour and malt complexity come from crystal rye alongside four other malts. The hop blend gives notes of resin and pine as well as some citrus and fruit.

Black Sail - 4.0% abv

A brand new, very dark stout from Hesket Newmarket Brewery made with lots of chocolate malt and black malt. Complex flavours of coffee and liquorice abound.

Helvellyn Gold - 4.0% abv

Straw coloured bitter, substantially hopped with traditional Goldings and Challenger hops, moderated by the use of malted oats alongside Maris Otter pale ale malt to give an exceptionally smooth finish.

High Pike - 4.2% abv

Deep amber colour and a full nutty malt character are complemented by a complex hop bitterness derived from a subtle blend of Kent Goldings, Fuggles and Hallertau Hersbrucker copper hops finished with aromatic Styrian Goldings.

Doris' 90th Birthday Ale - 4.3% abv

A full flavoured, fruity premium beer with hints of butterscotch, carefully balanced with bitterness from Fuggles, First Gold & Hallertau Hersbrucker hops.

Scafell Blonde - 4.3% abv

A pale refreshing but substantial bitter, produced from a mixture of Maris Otter and lager malts, with subtle notes of Golding, Northdown and Challenger hops and a refreshing, almost citrus, late hop note from Pioneer and Caskade.

In the event that Scafell Blonde is unavailable, the closest alternatives are Brim Fell IPA and Helvellyn Gold.

Brim Fell IPA - 4.5% abv

A light, copper-coloured IPA, brewed with a blend of Pale Ale, Munich and Crystal Malts giving a complex base to support a hoppy finish. This is an English Style IPA with new-world flavours from American hops (Perle, Centennial and Cascade) producing an IPA that pays homage to traditional beers.
