Skiddaw View Holiday Home Park offers a number of different amenities including the following: Children's Play Area, Laundry Room, Tourist Information, Telephone and Internet Room, four acre Dog Walking Field as well as a Recycling Point.

Play Area

Our modern play area is professionally designed and is a brilliant place for toddlers and the young to burn off any excess energy and meet new friends.

The equipment is located in a field adjacent to the main park and is free from traffic. The fall surface is specially designed to offer maximum safety.

Not that the children seem to notice but the views of Bassenthwaite Lake are excellent and especially from the top of the climbing wall!

Laundry Room

Offers a clean and modern facility with semi-commercial washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

Tourist Information

To be found in the Laundry room here we keep leaflets on many local points of interest for all ages. We are delighted to assist if you require details on any specific point.

Telephone & Internet Room

Here, yes you guessed, you can make a phone call but also you can now log on and check your email and surf the net.

Dog Walking Field

Around four acres with a mown path that twists and turns in a random fashion. Views over the Solway to Dumfries.

Recycling Point

Can be found opposite reception here we can recycle clean glass, tin, and paper we also have composting bins which can be found near Millie (the park goat's) House she will try to attract your attention especially if you are about to put some tasty veg in the compost bin!
